Hung Yen: Signing ceremony on safe pork consumption
On May 24, a signing ceremony on safe pork consumption between the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, clean pig breeding facilities and Nipponham Foods Vietnam Joint Stock Company took place at the office of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee. Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the signing ceremony.
Nipponham Foods Vietnam JSC. which locates in Thang Long II Industrial Park, Di Su ward (My Hao town), is an enterprise operating in manufacturing and processing cold cuts. The company's products are nation-widely available on the market of restaurants, hotels, provincial agencies, supermarkets and convenience stores. The company's products are strictly controlled by Japanese regulations on food hygiene and safety; Those products also are checked periodically by Nipponham Group experts.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee informed that at the complicated development of African Swine Fever (ASF), the Provincial People's Committee has implemented synchronous solutions to support the livestock industry in the province. In particular, all levels, sectors and localities attach special importance to propaganda so that the locals do not turn away from biosafety pork, clean pork. They also focus in developing biosafety breeding models. Besides, the province has launched public servants, public employees, workers and people in the province to consume clean pork in order to support the livestock industry. However, it is necessary to have enterprises with large pork consumption in order to support the livestock industry in the province. Therefore, this time Nipponham Foods Vietnam JSC. signed minutes to consume safe pork met the need of livestock establishments and households in the province and promote the development of the livestock industry in the province.
Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, localities, enterprises and animal husbandry facilities in the province to strictly implement the MOU signed with Nipponham Foods Vietnam JSC. It also requested to introduce more clean animal husbandry facilities to meet the company's pork consumption demand. Departments and localities shall coordinate with the company to remove difficulties and problems arising in the process of implementation. The province will create favorable conditions for the company.
In addition, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee asked departments, localities and agencies to synchronously implement solutions to soon control and terminate African swine fever in the province.
At the signing ceremony, Nipponham Foods Vietnam JSC. signed a MOU of safe porks consumption with the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and 9 enterprises and animal husbandry facilities in the province.
