Provincial General Hospital was awarded cervical cancer screening system worth VND 1.8 billion

On April 16, the People's Army Newspaper (PAN) collaborated with AnaPath Technology Development Co., Ltd. to award the Max-Prep Pap's Test for cervical cancer cell screening system to the Provincial General Hospital.
 
The hand-over ceremony saw the attendance of  Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee. Major General Pham Van Huan, PAN's Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.

Speaking at the awarding ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong thanked the attention of the PAN and the leader of AnaPath Technology Development Company Limited for presenting the system to the Provincial General Hospital.  The cervical cancer screening system has a great significance in diagnosing early disease, preventing the development of cancer or treating it at the early stage, then the death rate could be reduced.  
 
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee asked the Provincial General Hospital to receive technology quickly and effectively operate the equipment to serve the examination and treatment for patients.          
 
At the ceremony, leaders of AnaPath Co., Ltd. committed to providing a five-year warranty for the system and hand over free at least 1,500 kit of disease samples for cervical cancer screening for the hospital.
 
Korea's Max-Prep Pap's Test for cervical cancer screening system is an advanced system that uses dual membrane technology, giving accurate diagnostic results reaching 90% compared with other usual methods.  This system is worth more than VND 1.8 billion.
