On March 22, at the Headquarters of the Provincial People’s Council and the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee had a working session with the delegation of Sumitomo Corporation and Thang Long Industrial Park II Co., Ltd. about its expansion at phase 3.

At the working session, Mr. Goki Nobuta, General Director of Thang Long Industrial Park II Co., Ltd. thanked the province for facilitating them in the operation of Sumitomo Corporation and Thang Long Industrial Park II Co., Ltd. in the province over time.
 
Up to now, Thang Long Industrial Park II has attracted 75 enterprises with a total investment of over USD 2.4 billion and created jobs for over 22,000 workers.
 
To implement its expansion policy in Hung Yen, Sumitomo Corporation has planned to expand Thang Long Industrial Park II at phase 3 in the period of 2019-2022, over an area of about 200ha and total investment capital of VND 1,500 billion.  Sumitomo Corporation wished that the Provincial People’s Committee would create favorable conditions for the expansion of Thang Long Industrial Park II.
 
 Speaking at the working session, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phong said that the expansion of Thang Long Industrial Park II would boost up the province’s socio-economic development and create more jobs for workers in the province in the future.  The Provincial People’s Committee would facilitate the expansion of Sumitomo Corporation.
 
The Chairman assigned departments and agencies to coordinate with Sumitomo Corporation to complete the investment files and procedures; proposed that Sumitomo Corporation would make the plan to ensure its expansion project and production and business activities in accordance with the law of Vietnam.
