Virtual tour of artifacts at the Provincial Museum and National Historical relic of La Tien Banyan tree and La Tien Temple
On October 23, in Hung Yen city, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism cooperated with French National Institute (under Hanoi National University) to organize the conference to introduce the virtual tour of artifacts at the Provincial Museum and National Historical relic of La Tien Banyan tree and La Tien Temple (Phu Cu district). The conference saw the attendance of: Mr. Tran Quoc Toan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Doan Van Hoa, member of Provincial Standing Party Committee, Director of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; representatives of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, French National Institute and Association of Francophone Universities in the Asia-Pacific.

Delegates experienced a virtual tour of artifacts at the Provincial Museum and National Historical relic of La Tien Banyan tree and La Tien Temple based on application of digital software. Currently, as we want to visit the Provincial Museum and National Historical relic of La Tien Banyan tree and La Tien Temple, we need to go directly to watch the artifacts and scenery of the relic. However, thanks to this virtual tour model, as long as there is one computer or smartphone connected to the internet, the visitors can go for an exciting tour at any places and at any time with the artifacts at the Provincial Museum and National Historical relic of La Tien Banyan tree and La Tien Temple.
Despite of being "virtual", thanks to active support of technology, it is possible to bring viewers lively spaces associated with each artifact and relic. Virtual tours do not limit the time for visiting, viewers can freely contemplate the artifacts and stories they like; observe the showroom, not just stand still to see photos or objects in glass cabinets ...
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee asked the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to work closely with the French National Institute and Association of Francophone Universities to strengthen digital transformation in cultural heritage management in the province; actively combine digital technology in preserving cultural heritages of the province and aim to build smart tourism products to promote unique culture of the land and Hung Yen people.
