According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD), up to now, the province has 15 growing regions for export longan;
From August 1 to August 9, the Ne Chau Longan Cooperative (Hong Nam Commune, Hung Yen City) cooperated with Mia Fruit Co., Ltd. to officially export 700 kg of Hung Yen longan produced in the cooperative to the Singapore market. Fresh longan fruits from the cooperative's gardens are selected, ensured the fresh fruit standards before export.
In the context of the complicated development of the Covid-19 epidemic in some localities in the province, it has greatly affected the consumption of longan through traditional consumption channels. This is a difficulty but also a driving force for farmers in the province to shift and expand longan consumption in the digital environment through e-commerce platforms.
