On December 2, at the Headquarters of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee, Mr. Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee had a working session with Mr. Kim Hyun Jun, Chairman of Land and Housing Corporation, Korea (LH Corporation). It saw the attendance of Mr. Dang Ngoc Quynh, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Hung Nam, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the working session, Chairman of LH Corporation Kim Hyun Jun, thanked Hung Yen province for paying attention and creating favorable conditions in the implementation of the Vietnam - Republic of Korea Economic Cooperation Industrial Park project (also known as a Clean Industrial Park, belonging to the complex of Ly Thuong Kiet Industrial Park and Service Urban Area, Hung Yen province). At the same time, he introduced generally the smart city model that LH Corporation is deploying. Mr. Kim Hyun Jun hoped that, along with the Clean Industrial Park project being implemented in the province, LH Corporation and Hung Yen province would develop a number of smart and ecological industrial parks as well as continue to enhance cooperation in many fields.

Speaking at the working session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van briefly introduced the province's potentials and advantages in attracting investment and industrial development. He emphasized: In order to meet the increasing needs of domestic and foreign investors to learn about the investment environment, investment opportunities, production and business, in recent years, the province has concentrated resources to invest in technical infrastructure and high-quality human resources. In order to effectively exploit the potential and advantages of Hung Yen province, bringing profits to investors and community benefits, in addition to its geographical location, convenient transportation development infrastructure, available resources in localities, Hung Yen needs cooperation and mobilization of resources from outside, especially investors from Korea. Hung Yen always creates advantageous conditions for Korean investors and businesses to learn and invest in the province. Investors in the province are guaranteed a favorable environment for investment, production and business activities in accordance with the provisions of law; creating conditions for training workers and workers according to the needs of enterprises, meeting the needs of suitable skilled labor for investors. In addition, the province always accompanies businesses to promptly solve difficulties and problems during project implementation; publicity and transparency of administrative procedures, convenient customs procedures; providing housing for workers in industrial parks on the basis of investment or calling for, attracting businesses to invest in building housing for workers...

 

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that Hung Yen province will constantly create an investment environment in the direction of openness, transparency, suitable for the process of international integration; implementing reform of administrative procedures at all levels in the promotion, management and implementation of investment projects, creating favorable conditions for investors.

At the working session, the Provincial People's Committee and LH Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding on smart city development. 

 

On the same day, the delegation of LH Corporation visited the Vietnam - Republic of Korea Economic Cooperation Industrial Park; Ecopark urban area (Van Giang district).
