On June 29, at the headquarters of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghia, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, had a working session with leaders of Panasonic Vietnam Co., Ltd.

At the working session, the representative of Panasonic Vietnam Co., Ltd. briefly introduced the company's production and business activities in the past time and the orientation and goals for the coming time. Panasonic Vietnam Co., Ltd currently has seven companies and factories operating in Vietnam, of which the washing machine factory and the Research and Development Center have been operating in Thang Long II Industrial Park since 2013 with a total of 600 workers. Currently, the company's washing machine factory in Hung Yen has reached the standard of producing products for export to the Japanese market. In the coming time, the company will continue to improve to make smart products and apply digital technology to increase the use of components and accessories of Vietnamese origin. Not only focusing on product development, but the company also actively participates in social activities such as: Supporting funding and equipment for the province in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic; supporting tablets, bookcases for students, and schools… Representative of Panasonic Vietnam Co., Ltd. thanked the companion and support of the province for helping the business to operate stably and develop, especially since the situation of the Covid-19 epidemic is complicated; at the same time, it is proposed that the province support the company in three following issues: Providing high-quality human resources; upgrading and renovating traffic infrastructure; administrative reform, creating favorable conditions for foreign experts to work in the province.

Speaking at the working session, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia acknowledged the company's contributions to the province and affirmed that Panasonic Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a big enterprise with a brand associated with and familiar to the Vietnamese people and considered good quality. He wished the company would continue to pay attention and expand investment in the province. For the 3 issues proposed by the company, the province has been focusing on implementing and finding solutions to facilitate the company's operation. Regarding high-quality human resources, the province has consolidated and improved the quality of vocational training. It also created a mechanism to attract high-quality human resource training centers; created a good living environment for employees, especially high-quality workers, to attract and retain workers. From now to 2025, the province will spend a lot of resources to invest in new construction, renovation, upgrading, and expansion of many traffic routes, especially the ones connecting Hung Yen province with Hanoi city. Regarding the reception of foreign experts to work in the province, Hung Yen continues to make efforts to reform administration and create favorable conditions for businesses. The Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that the province is always committed to creating favorable conditions for investors to operate within the legal framework and always listening to the opinions and recommendations of businesses and investors to attract investment and improve provincial competitiveness.
