On 6 April, the Provincial People's Committee issued the Official Letter No. 722 / UBND-KGVX on payment of pensions, social insurance benefits in April and May 2020. Accordingly, the provincial Social Insurance shall coordinate with the provincial Post Office to implement the plan for payment of pension and social insurance allowance in April and May through the provincial postal system in one installment. The payment period is from April 16 to April 30, 2020.
 

For beneficiaries in cash pensions shall receive at their address; only pay pensions, social insurance allowances to the beneficiary who has the right address of receiving monthly pension and cross-border payments are not accepted.
 

Paying at the post offices for the following cases:  Beneficiary wishes to receive at the post offices, authorized beneficiary, or the post office employee came to the beneficiaries’ address but they had been absent from home several times.  For beneficiary in COVID -19 quarantine area, the Provincial Post Office will coordinate with the local authorities, the COVID -19 Prevention and Control Steering Committee has a timely, safe payment plan for beneficiary.

In order to ensure timely and safe payment, the provincial Social Insurance shall coordinate with the provincial Post Office in elaborating a detailed payment plan in each locality.  The provincial Post Office shall have a safety plan to pay in cash, ensuring no crowds gather; the Provincial Post Office shall conduct disinfection spray at the payment places before and during the payment time; the post office employees must wear face masks and prepare disinfecting water. The provincial Post Office and the provincial Social Insurance actively propagandize beneficiaries to receive salaries and benefits through their personal accounts to prevent the COVID-19.
