In response to the call of General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong; The call of "All people should make donations for COVID-19 prevention and control" of the Presidium of the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front, on April 14, the provincial People's Committee, the Standing Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province held a launching ceremony to mobilize all people to donate rice and support to poor households and households in the concentrated quarantine zones for COVID-19 prevention and control.

The subjects of advocacy are cadres, civil servants, officials, soldiers and employees in agencies and units receiving salaries from the state budget and armed forces, benefactors, people from inside and outside the province.
Mobilization form: Donate money or rice directly.
In addition to the general donation forms, agencies, units, businesses and donors can directly select the poor households and households in the concentrated quarantine zones or the beneficiaries at the addresses provided by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.
Mobilization norms: Each of official, civil servant, public employee, worker receiving salary from the budget and officer, soldier in armed forces supports at least 1 day's salary; businesses, donors and people of all social strata donate as much as possible.
Mobilization period: From April 10 to May 10, 2020.
Accordingly, from the mobilization source, the poor households shall be donated 30 kg of rice/household; households in the concentrated quarantine zones under the Decision of the Provincial People’s Committee on establishment the concentrated quarantine zones for COVID-19 prevention and control shall be donated 20 kg of rice/household.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province (at Quang Truong street, Hien Nam ward, Hung Yen city; Account of the Provincial Fund for the Poor: 3761.0.9003779.91046 at the State Treasury of Hung Yen Province) is a standing agency that directly receives all supports and contributions of collectives and individuals.

The provincial People's Committee assigned related departments and agencies, the district level’s People's Committee to check and list the number of the poor households and households in the concentrated quarantine zones for COVID-19 prevention and control; mobilize units, businesses and all people of social strata to participate in responding and supplying food and daily necessities to the needs of the people. At the same time, it requests that the donated sources of funding and rice of organizations, individuals, businesses, benefactors and people from all social strata must be managed and used for the right purpose, right beneficiary, ensuring equality and ensuring that 100% of poor households and households in the concentrated quarantine zones for COVID-19 prevention and control will receive the donation.
Right at the launching ceremony, there were 30 organizations and many individuals making donations with the amount of over VND 530 million. Some organizations and individuals donated with a large amount, such as: The Provincial Buddhist Sangha donated VND 100 million; The Provincial Public Security donated VND 50 million; Department of Agriculture and Rural Development donated VND 35 million, Provincial Military Command donated VND 30 million; Chairman of the Provincial Business Association donated VND 20 million; Mr. Hoang Thien Cat, former provincial leader donated VND 5 million ...
