On May 27, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Sponsoring Council of the Provincial Children's Protection Fund Nguyen Duy Hung sent a letter to agencies, organizations, armed forces, businesses and benefactors. The letter calling as follows:

On behalf of the the Sponsoring Council of the Provincial Children's Protection Fund, I would like to thank all levels, branches, agencies, units, organizations, businesses, benefactors and people inside and outside the province for their cooperation and supporting together with the Hung Yen Provincial Children's Protection Fund during the past years. 

Despite of facing difficulties and challenges caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, in 2020, the Provincial Children's Protection Fund has received the attention, contributions and support of agencies and organizations, businesses, benefactors and people with an amount of money and in kind over 7.2 billion VND to take care of over 15,000 children with special and difficult circumstances through the following programs: Supporting heart surgery and operation smile; donating bicycles, scholarships, school supplies; long-term sponsorship, urgent support; donating playground equipment to preschools; visiting and rewarding gifts and nutritional support to children,... helping them overcome difficulties and confidently rise to integrate into the community. These acts of kindness have deeply expressed the feelings and responsibilities of all levels, sectors, families and the whole society towards children. 

The Party committees, authorities and people of Hung Yen province have always determined that child care, education and protection is the responsibility of the whole political system, social community with practical and caring actions. We shall take care of and create conditions for children to study and develop comprehensively, contributing to better implementation of children's rights and the goals of the Action Program for Children in the period of 2021 - 2030. 

On the occasion of the Children's Action Month 2021 with the theme "Joining hands to ensure the children's rights and protect children during natural disasters and epidemics", I call on organizations, businesses, officials and armed forces, cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, benefactors and the People with the spirit of solidarity and mutual love, by practical actions, continue to contribute and support the Hung Yen Provincial Children's Protection Fund with a minimum of one day's income; material support or sponsor through programs and projects implemented by Hung Yen Provincial Children's Protection Fund to take care of over 11,000 children in special circumstances, children from poor households, and near-poor households; children are affected by the COVID-19 epidemic as well as ensuring good implementation of social security work.
