On April 16, at the cultural house of Tran Cao town (Phu Cu district), The Department of Information and Communications, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Phu Cu district co-hosted Vietnam book and reading culture day 2022. 

This year, activities include book display and introduction; book arrangement; free book reading; book giving to libraries, book cabinets and typical readers; competition of drawing from books; talk about books and reading culture. 

On the occasion of Vietnam book and reading culture day 2022, the Department of Information and Communications gave books to 10 typical libraries and book cabinets in Phu Cu district. Hung Yen school book and equipment JSC presented books to 10 typical readers of Phu Cu district; VNPT Hung Yen gave reading tables and chairs to Pham Xa village, Minh Tien commune (Phu Cu district) for reading activities and cultural exchange.

The organizer of the competition of drawing from books for middle school students and elementary school students in Phu Cu district presented rewards to winners including 01 excellent prize, 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 6 third prizes and 14 encouraging prizes.  

Activities of Vietnamese book and reading culture day 2022 have encouraged and developed movements of book reading in public; raised awareness on meanings of reading to knowledge and skill enhancement, development of thinking, education and personality practice; praised books, affirmed rules and positions of books in society; as well as, built up and maintained reading habits of individuals, families and social networks.
